1. Merit of Offering to Sangha:
🔸During the auspicious Lunar New Year season, the practice of protecting life, refraining from killing, and offering vegetarian meals to the sangha generates immeasurable merit.
As stated in the sutra: "Those who provide offerings to the sangha will receive blessings beyond measure."
2. Donor’s Contribution and Merits:
🔸Support monastery construction to ensure the Dharma stay for a long time and spreads widely.
🔸Offer food to Shakyamuni Buddha and the Buddhas of the ten directions.
🔸Provide exquisite food offerings to the sangha, wishing that all beings may receive the nourishment of the Dharma in every life.
🔸Any remaining funds will continue to support the monastery construction, propagation of the Dharma, and the livelihood and studies of the sangha, enabling the donor's merits to grow, with boundless spiritual and material wealth.
3. Blessings and Merit Dedications:
🔸The monastery will set up a "Family Blessing Tablet" for the donor, praying for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to protect the family, bringing them joy and health.
🔸A blessing lamp will be lit for the donor, wishing them longevity, peace, and auspiciousness.
🔸Offerings will be placed in front of the Buddha for the donor, ensuring that the donor and their family enjoy completeness, happiness, health, and an increase in merit and wisdom, with boundless wealth and joy in future lives.
🔸Through the merit of supporting the monastery, the sangha, and the puja, the following dedication will be made to the donor: "May your family enjoy peace, prosperity, and good health, free from sickness, obstacles, and afflictions. May you live a long life, increase in blessings, and be reborn in the heavenly realms or among humans, experiencing wealth, honor, and abundant provisions. Your appearance will be dignified and pleasing to all beings. May you encounter the complete and perfect Dharma, guided by great faith, wisdom, and merit, and receive the teachings of virtuous masters, ensuring success in your spiritual practice. May you swiftly attain Buddhahood, completing the path to enlightenment."
