Lunar New Year Sangha-Manjushri Altar Donor of Supreme Wisdom and Virtue

As stated in the sutra, "Manjushri Bodhisattva is the mother of countless Buddhas, The teacher of countless Bodhisattvas, Guiding and maturing all beings, Renowned throughout the ten directions."

1. Ban Foo Monastery creates a solemn altar to devoutly offer to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
🔸As stated in the sutra, "Among all fields of merit, the Buddha’s merit field is supreme; To seek great fruit, offer to the Buddha’s merit field." By offering exquisite items to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, one is blessed with noble birth, abundant resources, and auspicious joy.

2. The donor contributes to the following merits:
🔸Support monastery construction to ensure the Dharma stay for a long time and spreads widely.
🔸During the Lunar New Year Puja, preparing the Manjushri Altar of Supreme Wisdom and Virtue, offering the Prajnaparamita Sutra, fragrant flowers, fresh fruits, incense, pure water, and exquisite food.
🔸 If any funds remain, they will continue to support the monastery's construction, Dharma propagation, and the sustenance of the sangha’s study and practice, increasing the donor’s merits, which will be enjoyed endlessly.

🔸Exquisite Food: Accumulate great blessings, attaining abundance and contentment.

4. Blessings and Dedication:
🔸The monastery will prepare a Grand Blessing Tablet for the altar donor, praying for health and auspiciousness.
🔸Create an exquisite Manjushri Blessing Card to dedicate offerings to Manjushri Bodhisattva, praying for wisdom and protection.
🔸Offering the Wisdom Light: By offering the "Wisdom Light", receive the radiant illumination of wisdom empowered by the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
🔸Invite the donor to serve as the merit donor of the New Year Puja and participate in the incense offering ceremony.
🔸The presiding Venerable will recite and announce the donor’s name.
🔸Merits from monastery construction, support for sangha, and the extraordinary puja will be dedicated to altar donors: "May your family be safe and auspicious, with physical and mental well-being. May obstacles such as illnesses, karmic hindrances, and afflictions be eliminated. May you enjoy long life and abundant blessings in this life and be reborn in celestial or noble human realms in the next, experiencing wealth, prosperity, beauty, and joy. In every lifetime, may you encounter the pure, complete teachings of the Dharma, be guided by virtuous teachers, and possess favorable conditions to practice the path to enlightenment swiftly and attain Buddhahood."
