MT - Collective Offerings at the Lotus Pond Assembly Treasure Altar

1. Donors will contribute to the following Meritorious Deeds:
🔸Construction of the monastery.
During the Dharma assembly, the monastery will respectfully prepare the Lotus Pond Assembly Treasure Altar, decorated with precious ornaments, jewelled towers, blossoming crystal lotuses, vegetarian offerings to the Buddhas, fresh flowers, fruits, and scented waters. Donors join in these offerings at the altar, cultivating extensive merit to bring joy to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, amassing great blessings, and attracting auspiciousness.
🔸 If any funds remain, they will continue to support the monastery's construction, Dharma propagation, and the sustenance of the sangha’s study and practice, increasing the donor’s merits, which will be enjoyed endlessly.

2. Merits of Offerings at the Lotus Pond Altar:
🔸Offering Precious Ornaments:One is born into a virtuous and noble family, blessed with wealth and prosperity in both worldly and spiritual pursuits.
🔸Offering Jewelled Towers:Ensuring one’s residence is grand and dignified, bringing national peace and harmony.
🔸Offering Crystal Lotuses:Bringing purity and brightness like a lotus, free from afflictions and impurities.
🔸Offering Vegetarian Meals:Accumulating vast merits and ensuring abundance in food and clothing.
🔸Offering Fresh Flowers:Bestowing dignified and refined appearance.
🔸Offering Fresh Fruits:Symbolizing peace, joy, and the swift attainment of Buddhahood.
🔸Offering Scented Waters and Flowers:Symbolizing a purified mind and a clean, tranquil body and mind.

3. The Monastery will establish a “Collective Lotus Pond Assembly Treasure Altar Plaque” for donors, placed in front of the Buddha for blessings.

4. The merits from the puja will be dedicated to the donor:
“May the blessed one swiftly accumulate blessings and merit, enjoy prosperous business, harmonious relationships, increased wealth and wisdom, and obstacles be eliminated.”
