1. Origins
🔸There was a Celestial Emperor whose heavenly palace shook one day. Using his heavenly eye he observed that it was caused by a farmer ploughing stones in his field. A stone slab, which the Emperor offered in one past life, was the foundation of the Buddha's palace. Because of this merit, he was born in the heavenly world, enjoying blessings for many lifetimes. He hurried down to earth to persuade the farmer not to dig. As long as this stone is not moved, he will enjoy boundless blessings forever.
2. The merits gained from Offering of Pagoda Foundation:
🔸Will not fall on miserable realm life after life, reborn in three virtuous realms. Born into a powerful family or a king's family, with dignified appearance, long life and healthy body; has good hearing and vision; good at eloquence; has a good reputation and is famous all over the world; has immeasurable wealth and abundant food and clothing; has many attendants and family members, and becomes the support of everyone... attain Buddhahood quickly.
3. Introduction:
🔸The foundation of the pagoda is located in Ban Foo Monastery, which is specially made of reinforced concrete.

💫The name of the pagoda will be permanently engraved. The name will be placed in the foundation of the tower and permanently sealed: May the meritorious donor have a stable career, good health and long life.
💫Puja of Medicine Buddha on 31 Oct will create "Special large Blessing Tablet" for the donor in front of the Buddha.
🔸Purification and unveiling ceremony:
💫The meritorious donor will be invited to attend the purification ceremony of the Great Pagoda during the Buddha’s Birthday Dharma Ceremony and unveil the Great Pagoda in person.
🔸After the donation, the Sangha shall hold a chanting and dedication of merit for all the donors for three consecutive years.
🔸At the end of the year, the Monastery shall make an overall dedication to the benefactor:
By offerings to the foundation of the pagoda, dedicating my merits to the foundation of my work and career, which will be solid and prosperous, my family will be safe and auspicious, my body and mind be at peace, longevity and blissful, and all obstacles such as illness, karmic obstacles, and troubles be eliminated. In all the lifetimes, be blessed with wealth and honour in heaven and on earth, and have the human life of leisure and opportunities to study the true Dharma. The foundation of the Buddha's Dharma will be solid, and one will quickly attain Buddhahood and benefit all living beings.
